About Lhyfe Croixrault
Lhyfe is completing the construction of its green hydrogen production plant, with a capacity of 2 tonnes per day (5 MW) , in Croixrault (around 30 kilometres south-west of Amiens, in the Somme), in the Mine d’Or business park, alongside the A29 motorway.
Lhyfe will thus contribute to the sustainable reindustrialisation of the Hauts-de-France region and help ensure the transition of the local economy towards a more self-sufficient and carbon-free model . The hydrogen will be produced by water electrolysis using electricity generated from renewable energy sources (primarily wind power, via PPAs).
This production site will meet the needs of manufacturers and heavy transport operators in the Hauts-de-France region (heavy goods vehicles, buses, and the chemical, metallurgy, steel and glass sectors), replacing grey hydrogen or fossil fuels.
